Today we went to Gigi and Papa’s house to try on some new clothes. Landon made it through the try on process before spitting up all over he and I. It was just easier to give him a bath so he had his first bath in the sink. (Thanks Aunt Penny for capturing the moment)
Then we went to the mall. After the mall Landon practiced rolling from his back to his belly again. He is so determined that he tried for 45 minutes. N
Landon decided tonight that he is going to practice rolling from his back to his belly. I googled and this isn’t a skill they normally do until 5-6 months old. Crazy baby! He practiced forever tonight.
We decided to take a trip to the pumpkin patch this year since our trip to the apple farm was a bust last year. I found this farm called Greenspot Farm in Mentone from a Facebook friend. We decided to give it a try. The weather said it was supposed to be really warm but we had great weather and missed the rain.
As we were walking up to the farm their dog greeted us. It was so cute. He even joined our family picture.
Landon went to his first musical today. He is a good baby and nursing so he had to come. He was happy before the show started and then slept for the first half of the show. He wore an adorable outfit but spit up before we made it in the theatre.
He woke up crying for a second because he was hungry. I nursed him in the back of the theatre and he was happy watching the rest of the show. He didn’t make one peep. He was so into the songs and colors happening on stage.
Our first musical was a success!
I’ve been working on sleep training Landon all week. He has always been good about putting himself to sleep but struggled to stay asleep in the crib. Today I decided to put his muslin blanket on top on the sheet. Landon’s first nap was 45 minutes which wasn’t great but he didn’t wake up once. His next nap was almost 2 hours! And his last nap was an hour and a half and only woke up once. I don’t know if the blanket made a difference but I’m leaving it! I’m so happy I didn’t give up. Look at this happy face after his nap.
