We had another great day today! I started my dairy free diet and day one wasn’t as hard as I thought. I think giving Landon his medicine three times a day is working because he was happy all day! I feel like we are on the road to having a happy baby.
Landon had a great day…finally! Last night he slept well and seems to be doing better with his extra dose of medicine. This morning he had play time with Daddy while I got some extra sleep. After his feeding he fell asleep so I did my Insanity workout while Tessa and Daddy washed the car. Landon took a great nap which gave me time to research and make a grocery list for my new dairy free diet. Once he woke up he nursed and played with me before I headed to the store. When I came back Landon was happy and we played with his new favorite toy the black and white bug.
Then he nursed and fell asleep. While he slept Tessa and I played in the playroom and then Auntie came over. Landon was all smiles for Auntie. She brought over more blocks for Tessa and a Jeep toy for him.
I’m excited to have more days like these.
Today was miserable! Landon’s medicine wasn’t working at all. He threw up all over the couch this afternoon. He was wiggling, whiny, and crying most of the day. I talked to a Kaiser nurse since he had threw up twice now. She suggested giving Landon his medicine every twelve hours and would schedule a phone appointment with his doctor for Friday to see what to do next. At this point I will do anything! I just want a happy baby.
We had a rough night and Landon screamed at 3:30am and threw up. I emailed his doctor to see what she suggested.
Today was probably the best day Landon, Tessa and I have had together! Landon and I spent time together this morning while Tessa was still sleeping. He talked and cuddled and he was in a great mood. After breakfast he took a great nap in the swing in our room while Tessa and I spent time together in the playroom. Then Landon joined us on his play mat and I propped him up using the Boppy. He is starting to notice toys more and coo.
Landon loves having his diaper changed in Tessa’s room. The minute you lay him down on her changing pad he is all smiles.
