Playing Disneyland

Playing Disneyland

When going to Disneyland the day before isn’t enough you also have to play “Disneyland” at home.  Today Tessa had Landon and I wear Mickey ears and come meet her as she pretended to be various princesses.  Landon is in for a lifetime of dress up!

Disneyland

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland today.  Landon had fun watching the Mickey show, riding the Casey Jr train for the first time, running around Toontown and watching the Soundsational Parade.  Landon is becoming quite the Disneyland lover!

Park Fun

Park Fun

We went to the park today to get our wiggles out.  Landon wanted to walk around the grass area most of the time or try to put a stick into different holes he found on the play equipment.  He did like riding the the airplane and motorcycle. He rode the swing for a bit and then we walked over to the library.  I quickly realized that Landon is a little too loud for the library so we didn’t stay long.

Boo

Boo

Landon is practicing for Halloween and has been trying to scare people.  His “boo” doesn’t even sound like boo but we know what he means.

Riding Tessa’s Quad

Riding Tessa’s Quad

Today Landon hopped on Tessa’s quad, pushed the button and started riding it!  I was shocked.  Now I just need to teach him how to steer.  We spent lots of time outside today riding the roller coaster, playing with bubbles, and trucks.  Landon loves to be outside.

Last Havasu Trip for 2017

Last Havasu Trip for 2017

James had already made plans for the weekend and I didn’t want to miss out on the last Havasu trip for the year so I decided to drive up with both kids by myself.  I was super nervous but both kids were great and I’m very thankful for portable dvd players!  We stopped on the way at Blue Water Casino where Auntie was working a boat event. We went swimming in the pool (which turned out to be a horrible idea because both kids got a rash from the chlorine).  Later that night Gigi and Papa drove up.

Landon loves Havasu so much!  He looked like such a big boy sitting in his Mickey chair while eating his lunch.  His favorite thing is to walk around with a stick or splash in the water.  This trip was easier since he could walk.

I’m so happy Landon loves Havasu as much as the rest of us!  I can’t wait to see what memories we create next year!
