Happy Thanksgiving 2018

Happy Thanksgiving 2018

Landon has been sick with the stomach flu for over a week now. I’m glad he is finally feeling a little better and we were happy to celebrate thanksgiving at Gigi and Papa’s house.

Landon’s favorite part was the pumpkin pie!

1st Apple Farm Trip

1st Apple Farm Trip

Landon got to experience the apple farm for the first time today. He loved it so much!

We started with apple picking and I decided to wear Landon on my back. He loved trying the apples out before we started picking.

Then we walked to pick gala and spartan apples. Landon didn’t quite understand the picking part but he sure loved the eating part. Aunt Polly got an apple started for him and he enjoyed it so much!

Landon loved sitting in the apple box.

We stopped to play in the corn on our way to picking raspberries.

Landon loved picking raspberries with Gigi! Probably because she let him eat them all!

Then we walked back down to have a picnic.

After our picnic we went to the petting zoo (more photos and videos to come)

We watched Tessa ride the horse and then went to the gift shop. Landon learned he liked apple cider as much as apples.

I love getting to experience new things with Landon.

First Thanksgiving

First Thanksgiving

Landon celebrated his first Thanksgiving today.  Our morning started off rough because he freaked out when I put him in his jeans, button up shirt, and sweater vest.  I had tried the outfit on him last week and he didn’t seem to mind, today on the other hand he flipped out.  We attempted to get a family picture but none of them turned out.  I did manage to get a cute picture of him and Tessa together though.

Then we put him in his comfy clothes.

Landon did nap during dinner so we all got to eat warm food which was nice.

The Lacey’s were up north celebrating with Uncle Scott’s family but Aunt Penny bought Landon two new toys to play with.  Landon really liked the owl toy.

Grammy and Gino came down the the holiday and met Landon for the first time.

Keeping with tradition Gigi and Papa have Landon his first ornament. They started an airplane set for him.

1st Halloween

1st Halloween

With Landon being so young he wasn’t really about Halloween this year. He was super happy while I took his picture this morning though!

Before putting on his penguin costume we took some family photos

Costume time! He was such a cute penguin and even held his pumpkin to trick or treat with.

Landon only made it to two houses before crying so Daddy took him home.

Carving Pumpkins

Carving Pumpkins

This is Landon’s first Halloween and Tessa chose a pumpkin at the store for him. We decided to carve him a simple jack o lantern face. He just watched and didn’t seem to interested.

First trip to the Pumpkin Patch

First trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We decided to take a trip to the pumpkin patch this year since our trip to the apple farm was a bust last year. I found this farm called Greenspot Farm in Mentone from a Facebook friend. We decided to give it a try. The weather said it was supposed to be really warm but we had great weather and missed the rain.
As we were walking up to the farm their dog greeted us. It was so cute. He even joined our family picture.

Landon got see baby goats and bunnies before our tractor ride.

Landon was not impressed with the tractor ride.

While everyone else went through the hay maze Landon and I swung on the swing. He eventually fell asleep and slept most of the time.

Landon woke up in time for a family picture and a mini photo shoot in the pumpkins.

Fall Fun

Fall Fun

Although Landon and Tessa are still getting over a cold we decided to venture out this morning to the grocery store. I haven’t taken both kids alone yet. Tessa sat in the car and Landon was in the carrier. It actually went smoothly and we made it out alive.

Once we were back home the kids played together. I love seeing how much they love each other.

Once Daddy was home he took down the Halloween and Fall decor so we started decorating the porch. At the grocery store Tessa chose pumpkins for the family. Landon liked his and kept holding it.
