Today we went to Kenny’s Strawberry Farm after applying for Landon’s passport. We are excited that Landon isn’t allergic to strawberries anymore. This farm was so cute! Landon loved finding the strawberries that were red Lightning. He also enjoyed eating a few too!
We celebrated 4th of July at Gigi and Papa’s with Auntie, Tia and Uncle Matt. First we swam and played corn hole. Landon even went down the water slide!
Then we ate and Landon got to open a birthday gift from Tia and Uncle Matt.
Then we swam some more and Landon decided he wanted to wear goggles like Tessa. It was so cute!
We finished the day off with s’mores, fireworks and sparklers! We found out he loves s’mores and ate the whole thing!
Landon loved the fireworks in the sky and kept saying “bang bang”. At first he didn’t like the sparklers but changed his mind toward the end.
On Fridays I normally take the kids to the park and then we get McDonald’s on the way home. Tonight Tessa really wanted to go to Carl’s Jr. to play in the play land.
Then we came home for lunch and Landon got to use his iPad which Tia gave to him since she doesn’t use it anymore.
Once Daddy came home we headed for Carl’s Jr. I wasn’t a fan of them being around so many germs but they had a lot of fun!
Landon loves to listen to us read his Mickey book about feelings. Today he decided to read it to me! I love his “yawn” too cute!
Today we took Landon to downtown Riverside where they were having an event called Truck-a-Palooza. The event was a bunch of different type of trucks the kids could look at and climb on. Papa also joined us! Landon had the best time! He kept running and pointing to all the trucks. His favorite part was driving the bus and sitting in the fire truck. The rain made it difficult to get videos but that didn’t stop Landon. His smile says it all!
We headed to Disneyland today to meet Santa. I had been showing Landon Christmas movies, pictures of Santa and reading holiday books to prepare him.
Landon doesn’t like standing in line so Daddy took him to explore while Tessa and I waited in line. Once it was time to wait in line Landon decided he needed to nurse so I had to make it work. Once we were at the front of the line Landon was already over it all and wanted nothing to do with Santa. The photographer was amazing and captured this adorable picture.
But this is how Landon really felt about his Santa experience.
Tessa was a sweet big sister and told Santa that Landon loves Lightning McQueen and he would like a Lightning McQueen car for Christmas.
Landon wasn’t a fan of Santa’s helpers either
It was so hot today that we needed to change the kids outfits and then had lunch. After lunch we went to Cars Land.
First, we rode Mater with Landon for the first time!
Then Landon met Mater and Lightning McQueen. I thought he would have been so excited to meet them but he was very hesitant.
After riding Ariel we headed to Disneyland to watch the Christmas Parade. Landon was super tired and fighting a nap so keeping him happy was hard. He was happier once the parade started.
I decided to keep him in the carrier and we headed to the car. Landon had been wiggling so much that his diaper must have shifted so when he went pee in the carrier it leaked all over him and I. We cleaned him up and headed home. Hopefully next year he will like Santa more!
